The Friends of Oleta International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day - global initiative led by the Ocean Conservancy
4th Annual Hosting of the ICC Event - a Mega shoreline/park cleanup on Otober 21st at Oleta River State Park ...and this year we are RECYCLING again plus collecting small items like bottle caps...and hard plastics for an art project! STARBUCKS will be providing their delicious COFFEE FREE to our early-rising volunteers. Local area cleanups are being collectively planned/supported by VolunteerCleanup.org...registration for our site. Please meet the Friends at the White Ibis pavilion (east of Parking lot 3)... Please bring a REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE for cold water refills. NO SINGLE USE PLASTIC bottles allowed at this litter-free event. COMMUNITY SERVICE credits available to students volunteering.
