Registration is closed

Happy Holidays!  On December 19th our new Butterfly Ambassador Co-chairs, Kathayza & Sophie, will lead a great day of planting, weeding and cleaning up litter in Oleta's Butterfly Garden. We will also be joined by our wonderful neighboring ATM High School students & staff to launch a new citizen science program beginning with a focus on soil health in our planting/restoration efforts.

Our meet-up point will be the Panther Pavilion, located west of parking lot 6 - just beyond the playground. We will have games, challenges, education & great volunteering fun!

Plus for those who want to help in a Sandspur cleanup - please arrive by 8:30am to team up with the kayaking/canoeing crew.

Our FABULOUS donors are Starbucks for rich coffee to wake us up, Winn-Dixie for fruit plus something festive & sweet...and pizza from Vocelli Pizza North Miami Beach!

Look forward to seeing you on the 19th!

Event Guidelines:

It is best to wear solid shoes, sun-protective clothing, a hat and sunscreen. Please bring a REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE for cold water/drink refills - and at least one glove (can be from garden, kitchen, plastic, etc) because trash pickup can be messy and we'll also be digging in the dirt!

And, again, don't forget: NO SINGLE USE PLASTIC bottles allowed at this litter-free event so please bring a resuable cup or bottle for cold water/drinks.

COMMUNITY SERVICE credits available to students volunteering. Kids under 15 MUST be supervised by adult.
