The Friends want to add some color & nectar for the butterflies and the bees - plus clean up our shorelines. We will host another biodiversity boosting event on November 14th at 10AM. We will begin @10:00AM at the picnic tables next to the playground area (parking lot #6). Please proceed E over the small bridge and then immediately left to the butterfly garden area We will have Starbucks coffee and some snacks...more info coming soon! Please bring a REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE for cold water refills. We also ask you to bring at least one glove (can be from garden, kitchen, plastic, etc) because trash pickup can be messy and we'll also be digging in the dirt! We are looking forward to seeing you at Oleta this Saturday!! And, again, don't forget: NO SINGLE USE PLASTIC bottles allowed at this litter-free event so please bring a resuable cup or bottle for cold water. COMMUNITY SERVICE credits available to students volunteering. Kids under 15 MUST be supervised by adult.
